The Angler Fish Clock

$51.00

What happens when an artist has too much time on her hands? She makes clocks of course!

Stepping straight out of Darwin's Pond, comes an array of humorous "Fish with Feet Clocks". Created by Internationally Unknown Artist, Carmen I Hurt, this timepiece depicts one of Darwin's ever evolving creatures.
Some of these newly evolved fish are difficult to identify, as they are still a bit rare, but this one, with his fishing boots and a line in the water, is easily identifiable as the "Angler" fish. Looks
like he has a fresh catch on the hook....but wait his newly caught fish has no feet! Apparently the little orange fishy is a Christian fish who doesn't believe in evolution. I suspect that he will throw that one back in.

Images of Carmen's original are printed on deluxe art papers, and affixed to wood panel with a 1.5 cradle. The clock face is then sealed with several coats of clear varnish after which, clock parts and hands are attached. The 1.5 depth allows the clock parts to be completely recessed allowing the clock to hang flat against the wall, or used as a free standing decorative piece.
The clock parts are the Quartex brand for long lasting reliability. The clocks require one AA battery, which is not included.
